Dr Jed A. Long

In January 2019, I joined the Department of Geography at Western University as an Assistant Professor. Previously, I was Lecturer in GeoInformatics in the School of Geography & Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews. I hold an MSc and PhD in Geography from the University of Victoria, an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS), and a BSc in Physical Science from the University of Guelph. My research is interdisciplinary, but broadly I am interested in GIScience, space-time analysis, and the study of movement
